Elizabeth Jane (Reese) Shoup

Elizabeth Jane Reese Shoup, 72, of Saltsburg, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019 at her home. She was born on Wednesday, October 23, 1946 in Johnstown, the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Toth Reese. She enjoyed making crafts, doing puzzles, was a wine connoisseur, loved the Steelers and Elvis. She was a devoted mother who enjoyed decorating for the holidays and was happiest  spending time with her grandchildren and family. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Junior James Shoup, her children, Tammy Zimmerman and her husband, Rob, of Clarksburg, Denise Van Alen and her husband, Alfred, of Murrysville and Don Shoup of Cranberry Twp., 5 grandchildren, Michael Buchinsky, Anthony Buchinsky (Jess), Caitlin Van Alen, Sean Van Alen,  Rayna Shoup and a great grandson, Connor Buchinsky.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Don and Jim Reese and a sister, Mary Ann Reese. Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 3:00Pm to 7:00PM in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 10:00AM. Pastor Robert Shallenberger will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Blairsville.
