Edith Elmira (Powell) Lauda

Edith Elmira Powell Lauda, 77, of Avonmore, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Excela Health in Greensburg. She was born Sunday, February 1,1942 in Aliquippa, the daughter of the late Lewis and Mildred Dunmire Powell. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, word search puzzles and watching television, but she especially loved her family. She is survived by 3 daughters, Carole Elaine Lauda of Avonmore, Linda Lee Wilhelm of Avonmore and Deborah Lynn Redmond of Avonmore, 5 grandchildren, Joshaua Wilhelm and his wife, Melanie, of Glenshaw, Heather Wilhelm (Donald) of Vandergrift, Sarah Bice and her husband, Joshua, of Rapid City, South Dakota, Clarissa Susane Simarowksi of Monroeville and James Stine of Pittsburgh, 5 great grandchildren and a sister, Kathleen S. Naponic and her husband, Larry, of Bell Vernon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Dennis Lauda and 2 daughters, Evelyn Marie Lauda and Beth Anne Lauda. Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 3PM until time of services at 7PM in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa. Interment is private
