Dorothy Jean (Reynolds) Hilty

Dorothy Jean Reynolds Hilty 92 of Apollo (Kiski Twp.) passed away Thursday September 28, 2017 at her home. She was born July 29, 1925 in Apollo the daughter of the late Lindsey H. and Anna Margaret Baker Reynolds. Dorothy enjoyed flower gardening, baking buns and bread, and especially traveling with her husband. She is survived by five children; Daniel Hilty and his wife Barbara of Apollo, Linda Mull and her husband Butch of Vandergrift, Pamela Batistig of Apollo, Timothy Hilty and his wife Sherry of Apollo, and David Hilty of Apollo, twelve grandchildren, 15 greatgrandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Daniel Hilty, her son, Jeffrey Hilty, three granddaughters; Gretchen Deibler, Shannon Batistig, and Vicky Martin, a grandson, Chuck Gillespie, two brothers; William and Lynn Reynolds, and her sister, Ruth Fiscus. At Dorothy’s request, Private services were conducted Saturday September 30, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home Ltd. 1916 Moore Ave. North Apollo, Pa. Pastor Bob Shallenberger officiated. Interment followed in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo.
