Clarence Jesse Skinner

Clarence Jesse Skinner, 84, of Indiana, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at Scenery Hill Manor in Indiana, Pa. Clarence was the son of Merritt Emery and Thelma Lucille (Doran) Skinner and was born June 27, 1935 in Brick Church, Pa. He was a former resident of Homer City, Pa until 1973 when he relocated to Bluffton, Indiana. He recently returned to his beloved Pennsylvania in July of 2018. Clarence spent most of his career driving truck. He also worked a short time at FMC Syntron in Homer City and worked 18 years for Sterling Casting in Bluffton, Indiana. Clarence loved fishing, playing pool, listening to the “old country” music, writing poetry and tinkering with mechanics. Clarence was the father of nine children:  Gail Louise (Kenneth) Deemer of Clune, Pa. Ruby Lucille (Richard) Bozich of Josephine, Pa. Florence Elizabeth (Timothy) Youd of Indiana, Pa. Darlene Jane (Nick) DeLuca of McIntyre, Pa. Pamela Marie Skinner Hilty of Markle, Indiana Lawrence Ray (Delores) Skinner of Bluffton, Indiana Melissa Marlene (Brian) Kelly of Yoder, Indiana  Lara Ruth Skinner Miller of Terra Haute, Indiana  Clayton J Skinner of Michigan City, Indiana  Clarence is survived by his children, 35 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and one sister, Ruthanna Marie (Wilbur) Livingston.
