Clarence Raymond Dietrick

Clarence Raymond “Ray” Dietrick, 75, of Saltsburg passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Wednesday, May 20, 1942 in White Station, the son of the late Charles A. and Helen L. Repine Dietrick. Before his retirement, he was employed by Aukers National Roll in Avonmore, as a time keeper and later ran Dietrick Insurance Agency.  Ray was an associate member of the First Lutheran Church of Apollo, Pa. He enjoyed word search, the Game Show Network, train watching, cooking, watching the Steelers and Penguins, going on cruises and passing out peppermint Lifesavers to everyone. He will be remembered for running the kitchen for Bible School, (that included making 24 boxes of jello a day for finger jello) and hosting many parties at the family home. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Deborah Sue Greece Dietrick; a daughter, Pam Razpotnik of Nowrytown; three sons: Kevin Dietrick of Saltsburg, Ryan Dietrick and his wife Danielle of Saltsburg and Eric Dietrick and his wife Brittney of Saltsburg; three sisters: Doloris Dietrick of Saltsburg, Patricia Shubuck and her husband Steve of Blairsville and Betty Marie Dietrick of Latrobe; a brother, Robert Dietrick of Latrobe; six grandchildren: Joseph Vantassell, Steven Razpotnik, Mathew Razpotnik, Noah Dietrick, Adeline Dietrick and Grayson Dietrick; many nieces and nephews and the many people who considered him a second Dad and Pap. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Charles, Ralph and Roy Dietrick, his sisters, Ellen Baloga and Mary Louise and a brother in infancy. The family would like to thank his caregivers, Dr. Ken Gibson and Via-Quest Hospice.  Family will receive friends on Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 2pm to 5pm in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa.  Services will be conducted in the Funeral Home on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 5pm with Pastors Doctor Bruce Maxwell, Phil Ramstad, and Nate Watkins officiating.  Family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Ray’s memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
