Carolyn Joanne (Kepple) Blystone

Carolyn Joanne Kepple Blystone, 76, of Apollo, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019, at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh.  She was born Monday, July 6, 1942, in Apollo, the daughter of the late Ira and Ellen Geer Kepple.  She was a member of the Apollo Spring Church Sportsman’s Club, past officer of Apollo Ridge, PTA, officer for meals on wheels, loved campfires and camping and enjoyed feeding and watching hummingbirds.  She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Leland Blystone, 2 children, Tim Blystone and his wife, Gretchen, of Apollo, and Michelle Neace of Apollo, 1 sister, Ruth Moravec of Avonmore, 1 sister-in-law Mary Jane Kepple of Apollo, 1 brother, Gary Kepple and his wife, Connie, of Spring Church, 5 grandchildren, Courtney Nunamker and her husband, Mitch, of Clarksburg, Kiersten Spires and her husband, Matt, of Apollo, Cody Brown of Apollo, Chris Loughrey and his wife, Maura, of Spring Church, Leland Blystone of Apollo, and 6 great grandchildren, Kiara Moravec, Emma Nunamaker, Lilly Nunamaker, Caleb Nunamaker, Wyatt Loughrey and Nolan Spires.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Katherine Duplinsky and two brothers, Donald and Howard Kepple.  At Carolyn’s request all arrangements are private.
