Shirley Jean Cricks

Shirley Jean Cricks, 79 of Vandergrift (Parks Twp.) passed away Saturday December 31, 2016 at her home. She was born December 13, 1937 in Butler, Pa. the daughter of the late Leo L. and Viola Kemp Cricks. Before her retirement, she was employed at Uncle Charlies Sausage Company. She loved to ride horses, and appreciated all animals both domestic and wild. She enjoyed playing cards, puzzles, gardening, socializing and watching her favorite TV shows; the Soaps, Wrestling, Bull Riding, Golf, and NASCAR. She also enjoyed dancing, and was a onetime Jitter Bug Champion. She will always be remembered as a wonderful Mother and Grandmother who took time to be with her family. She is survived by four children; Joseph E. Davison of Apollo, Sina J. Davison, also of Apollo, Mickey M. Davison of Vandergrift, and Billy B. Davison also of Vandergrift, four grandchildren; Joseph S. Davison of Wisconsin, Dallas T. Davison of Apollo, Austin D. Davison of Apollo, and Jacob M. Lange of Vandergrift, one great granddaughter, Lilyanna, and three brothers; Dennis Cricks of West Lebanon, Bob Cricks and his wife Pam of Avonmore and Dave Cricks of Saltsburg. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Donna Lee Haas, and her former late husband, Robert S. “Spike” Davison. Family will receive friends on Monday January 2, 2017 from 3:00-5:00 P.M. and 7:00-9:00 P.M. in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home Ltd. 1916 Moore Ave. North Apollo, Pa. Additional visitation will take place on Tuesday January 3, from 10:00 A.M. until time of services at noon. Services will be conducted at noon in the funeral home with Pastor Lee Rupert officiating.
