Shayne Thomas Iverson

Shayne Thomas Iverson, 3, of Apollo, went to meet the angels Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, at UPMC Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh. He born was Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, in Nowrytown, the son of Jeremie J. and Stefanie E. Hutton Iverson. Shayne loved music, his favorite song was "Living on a Prayer", he loved socializing, enjoyed swimming, loved his giraffe "Edward" and his time spent at the Western Pennsylvania School for the Blind. In his short life here on earth, he was an inspiration to everyone he came into contact with. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two siblings, Gabriella Iverson and Caden Shoup; his maternal grandparents, Tammy Sinclair and Henry Badar, and his paternal grandparents, Sharon Gray and Larry Iverson; his great-grandmother, Victoria Sinclair; and numerous aunts and uncles. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, in the KELLY L. CORRIDONI FUNERAL HOME LTD., 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, in the funeral home. The Rev. Scott Fairman will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery in Avonmore. The family would like thank both Shayne's nurses and the staff at Bayada Pediatrics in Blairsville and those who made his stay at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh comfortable.
