Russell Lee Aikens Jr.

Russell Lee Aikens Jr, 47 of Avonmore, passed away Tuesday May 24, 2016 at his home. He was born October 11, 1968 in Westmoreland County, the son of the late Russell Aikens Sr. He was employed for 14 years at National Roll in Avonmore as a machinist. He was a United States Army Veteran and security specialist, having served at the White House and Pentagon. Russell was a member of the Kiski Twp. Sportsman Club. Russell enjoyed music, gardening, animals, and building models. He was an avid outdoorsman and collector of knives. He enjoyed time spent with his family. He is survived by his wife, Erica Barbieri Aikens,  and two children, Meya and Talen. At the family's request, there will be no public visitation or services.
