Robert Harrison “Bobby” Banks 63 of Export (Salem Twp.)  passed away Saturday March 10, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born May 9, 1954 in Avonmore, Pennsylvania the son of the late Lorin Lee and Reverend Bertha Mae Booker Banks. Before his retirement he was employed by Breeze Industries in Saltsburg for over 26 years as a machine operator. Bobby was a United States Army Veteran. He was a 1973 Graduate of Kiski Area High School. Bobby was a proud member of the Avonmore Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Trustee and Choir member. He loved his Church, and serving the Lord. He was a past member of the Avonmore Council, and took pride in his community. Bobby enjoyed time spent with family, playing cards, (especially spades), and watching football on TV. He was a member of the Kiski Area Wrestling Hall of Fame. He is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Bonnie Jean Bestwick Banks, Four Children; Roberta Usher and her husband Marlin of California, Robert Banks Jr. also of California, Loren Hunt and her husband Chad of Greensburg, and Aaron Banks of Oklahoma, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, two stepchildren; Shawn and Chad Jurica, three sisters; Patty Anderson and her husband Frank of Lower Burrell, Victoria Stevens and her husband Carey of Penn Hills, and Darlene Whitehead of Avonmore, two brothers;  Reverend Ronnie Banks and his wife Gerri of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Billy Banks and his wife Miriam of Avonmore, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Lorin “Sonny” Banks Jr. Family will receive friends on Wednesday March 14, 2018 from 2:00P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home Ltd. 400 Indiana Ave. Avonmore, Pa. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday March 15, at the Avonmore Baptist Church at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverends Ronnie Banks and Carey Stevens officiating.
