Robert "Bob" Clair King Sr.

Robert “Bob” C. King Sr. 77 of Kiski Twp. Passed away Thursday September 8, 2016 at Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville. He was born April 21, 1939 in Vandergrift the son of the late Vernon W. and Dorothy Shotts King. Before his retirement he was employed by Allegheny Ludlum in West Leechburg as a Crane Operator. Bob is a member of the Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Clarksburg. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, playing bingo and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Barbara I. Shaw King, six children; Shirley Hobbins and her husband George of Hyde Park, Robert C. King Jr. of Vandergrift, Richard C. King of Vandergrift, Keith King and his wife Mary of Templeton, Henry King of Vandergrift and Dorothy King and her husband Bert of New Bethlehem, nineteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, four sisters; Marjorie Lukehart and her husband Clair of Apollo, Zelda Kring of Vandergrift, Shirley King of Lakeland, Florida, and Donna George and her husband Lloyd of Elderton, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters; Genevieve Miller, Bertha Arlene Wright, and Linda Lauda, and his brother Leonard King. Family will receive friends on Monday September 12, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home Ltd. 400 Indiana Ave. Avonmore, Pa. Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday September 13, at 11:00 A.M. Reverend Brett Hoover will officiate. Interment will follow in Brick Church Cemetery.
