Remo Rudolph

Remo Rudolph  84 of Saltsburg passed away Wednesday July 27, 2016 a his home. He was born January 15, 1932 in Dilltown, Pennsylvania the son of the late Stephen and Domenica D’Egidio Rudolph. He was  member of Saint Matthew Roman Catholic Church in Saltsburg. Remo was a United States Army Veteran. He also belonged to the UMW Local 2239. Before his retirement in 1994 Remo worked for R&P Coal Company for twenty seven years as a trackman, while being self employed along side his wife Wilma as an owner and operator of their own gas station & store in Saltsburg. They also, for eighteen years, operated the Kiski Snack Bar at the Kiski School. Remo, loved his grandchildren, and enjoyed time spent with family. He is survived by two children; Ramona Taylor and her husband Jeffrey of Conemaugh Twp., and Stephen Rudolph of Washington D.C., four grandchildren; Adam Taylor of Conemaugh Twp., Evan Taylor and his wife Krysta of Washington Twp., Jonathan Taylor of Conemaugh Twp., and Quinn Patrick Rudolph of Gaithersburg, Maryland, three sisters; Carina Janetka of Bell Twp., Florence Ziemianski and her husband John of Avonmore, and Julia McCaffrey and her husband Patrick of Carnegie, a brother Dino Rudolph of Avonmore, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of sixty one years, Wilma Busi Rudolph, and a brother, Emidio  Rudolph. At his request all visitation  and parting prayer services were private. Father Salvatore Lamendola officiated. Interment was held in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
