Michael William Shirey Jr.

Michael William Shirey Jr., 32, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017 in Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born Friday, July 19, 1985 in Avonmore, Pa., the son of Michael W. Sr. and Jennifer LaRue Shirley Shirey . Michael attended the Church of Christ. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, playing high school football, the Steelers, helping his father and was a MMA fighter. He especially loved his daughters and spending time with his family. He is survived by his parents, 5 children, Tametria Shirey, Rahkia Dunlap, Amyah Shirey, Kelis Shirey and Amani Shirey, his significant other, Jaslynn Dunlap, his sister, Adrienne Gaydosh and her husband Robert of Saltsburg and his paternal grandmother, Mary Shirey of Saltsburg. Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 3pm to 8pm in the Kelly L Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa. Services will be held in the funeral home on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 10am with Pastor Lee Rupert, officiating. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park in Delmont, Pa and will be private.
