Mary C. Van Ruiten Ross Palmisiano 91 of Apollo passed away January 2, 2017. She was born April 5, 1925 in Pittsburgh, Pa. the daughter of the late Peter and Mary C. Then Van Ruiten. Mary was a member of the Apollo Free Methodist Church. She loved flowers, gardening and canning. Before her retirement she was employed by Kaiser Jeep Corp. in Greentree (Pgh, Pa.) as secretary to the regional manager. She is survived by her husband of thirty-two years, Mike Palmisiano,  a Son, H. Robert Ross Jr. of Apollo, two grandchildren; Herman "Bob" Ross III of Apollo, and Carrie Kramer and her husband Jason of McDonald, two great grandchildren; Cameron and R.J. (Ross Jameson), and a brother Peter M. Van Ruiten and his wife Rosemary of South Hills. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Herman Robert Ross Sr., sisters; Catherine "Kay" Pracht, and Margaret E. Ross. Family will receive friends on Wednesday January 4, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home Ltd. 1916 Moore Ave. North Apollo. Services will be conducted in the Funeral Home Thursday  January 5, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. Reverend Bob Neal will officiate. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
