Martin Lorent

Martin Lorent 57 of Vandergrift (Burrell Twp.) passed away Wednesday June 22, 2016 at his home. He was born August 3, 1958 in Tarentum, Pennsylvania the son of the late Henry Leroy and Joan Lillian Straka Lorent. He was employed by Componza Shopping Carts and Computers for over fifteen years. Martin was a member of Saint Gertrude Roman Catholic Church in Vandergrift. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He was an avid outdoorsman, and loved time spent with family. He is survived by his wife Tammy S. Smail Lorent, two children; Joshua L. Lorent and Deven M. Lorent both of Vandergrift, three grandchildren; Paige, Miesha, and Aliana Lorent, three sisters; Margaret “Peg” Imm and her husband Ron of Leechburg, Ilene “Fran” Pugliese and her husband Richard of Vandergrift, and Elizabeth Lorent and Mike also of Vandergrift, two brothers; Leland Lorent and his wife Kathy of Arnold, and Pat Lorent and his wife Robin of Vandergrift, and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother David Lorent.  At his request there will be no public visitation, and services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
