Marlene “Sapphire” Lindenberg Waddle 81, of Saltsburg passed away Friday March 16, 2018 at her Son’s home. She was born January 10, 1937 in Ramey, Pennsylvania (Clearfield County) the daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth Bricklemyer Lindenberg. Before her retirement in 1997, she was employed as a nurses- aide for the V.N.A of Indiana. Marlene as a member of the Saltsburg Presbyterian Church, and the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved to watch the birds, and deer, and play cards with her daughter in law Donna. Her true passion was fishing. She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Poupard and her husband Lawrence of Salina, her son, Jeffrey Waddle and his wife Donna of Saltsburg, five grandchildren; Michael Poupard and his wife Valerie of Tecumseh, Michigan, Lindsay Poupard of Greensburg, Alicia Baker and her husband Josh of Clarksburg, Jessica Scholl and her husband Jory of Saltsburg, and Josh Kopp and his wife Lourdes of Pittsburgh, and seven great grandchildren; Landon, Lucas, Alexander, Maylee Jo, Kameron, Dominic, and Benjamin. She is also survived by her faithful companion and best friend, her dog Gabby. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Stanley D. “Haney” Waddle, a son Greg (in infancy), two sisters; Wyona Overdorf, and Doris McKeever, and three brothers; Kenneth, Ray M. “Ben” and Earl Lindenberg. At her request, all funeral services were private.
