Louise Marie Centra

Louise Centra, daughter of the late Luigi and Joanna Eramo Centra went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2017 at the Greensburg Care Center.  Louise was born on March 11, 1924 in Vandergrift, and lived most of her life in Avonmore in her childhood home. She retired from Federal Laboratories, Inc. in Saltsburg, where she was employed for 35 years, as a Shipping Clerk. She loved to cook, collect recipes, read the bible and all literature that dealt with  Religion. She was a member of the Fannie Sellins Lodge #47 in Avonmore, and the Avonmore Historical Society.  Louise is survived by her sister Sylvia Machulsky of Avonmore and preceded by her parents and sisters Jacinta Veneziani and Josephine Sciotti. Family will receive friends on Thursday January 12, 2017 from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home Ltd. 400 Indiana Ave. Avonmore. Services will be conducted at 5:00 P.M. in the Funeral Home. Pastor Lee Rupert will officiate. Interment will take place in Westview Cemetery, Avonmore.

Louise's faith in God sustained her many times throughout her life.
