Lillian Lavina (Krzaszczak) March

Lillian Lavina Krzaszczak March, age 85, of Avonmore (Bell Twp.) passed away on March 25, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born Wednesday, July 1, 1931 in Pittsburgh, Pa. The daughter the late John and Valeria Nicspodzianska Krzaszczak.  Lillian was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, her trips to the casino, bingo and the horse races. She will always be remembered for her love of animals and the diverse types of pets she owned. She was a member of the Salina Bible Church, president of the PTA, a member of the Child Evangelism Fellowship and the Bell Twp. VFD ladies’ auxiliary.  For 25 years, she organized a vast toy drive through her church and her home which benefited numerous children.  She is survived by 6 children; Cheryl March of Boston, MA., Kerry March and his wife Sandy of Charlotte, NC., Daryl Gray and her husband Randy of Punxsutawney, Darla Magalich and her husband George of Fort Worth, TX., Dana Shannon and her husband Michael of Edmon, PA and Shawn March and his wife Mandi of Edmon, PA. Ten grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a sister, Antoinette Pesacreta of Mt. Lebanon, PA.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Carl March, a son, Keith March, 2 brothers, Jerome and Raymond Krzaszczak and her sister, Dolores Smochko.  Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm until time of services at 8pm at the Kelly L Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 1916 Moore Ave, North Apollo, PA. Services will be conducted at the funeral home at 8pm with Pastor Lee Rupert officiating.  Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell, PA.
