Joseph Victor Gallo

It is with great sadness our family must announce that, after a long hard battle with cancer, Joseph Victor Gallo, 61 of Apollo, formerly of Mount Washington, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 25, 2017. He was born July 13, 1955 in Mount Washington, the son of Helen Urban Gallo . Before his retirement, he was a dental ceramist  for over thirty years. In addition to his mother, he is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 37 years, Marcia Ann Shevlin Gallo whom he married in 1979, three children; Dedra Lynn Dineff and her husband Joseph of Gibsonia, Joseph Patrick Gallo of Apollo, and Janet Marie Gallo of Apollo, two brothers, Frank “Butch” Gallo and his wife Pam of Maryland, and Richard Gallo and his wife Sue of Long Island New York. On December 28, 2014, he became “pap pap” to his first grandchild, Jaelynn . Joe was an active member of the Bible Presbyterian Church. Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 11:00 AM until time of services at 12:30 PM in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 1916 Moore Ave, North Apollo PA. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:30 PM in the funeral home with pastor Chris Sidwell officiating. Internment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo.
