Frieda Pauline Heckman

Frieda Pauline Heckman, age 93, of Cabot, Pa. passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at home.  She was born on June 14, 1923 in Avonmore, Pa. The daughter of the late Wallace and Mary Elizabeth Ridenour Cramer. She was a member of the Son’s of Zebedee Lutheran Church in Saltsburg, Pa.  Frieda enjoyed gardening, crocheting, baking and working outside, especially in her flower gardens.  She is survived by 2 daughters, Sandra Littman of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Evelyn  Monson and her husband John of Elizabeth Town, Pa. and a son, Richard A Heckman and his wife Kathy Ellis of Carilisle, Pa., a granddaughter, Jessica L Bolden of Mechanicsburg, Pa., 2 brothers, Ray Cramer of Texas and  James Cramer and his wife Cathy of Leechburg, Pa., a sister, Vera Faiola of North Apollo, Pa. In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by her husband, Charles H. Heckman in 2003 and a sister, Lillian Dobrosky.  Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 1 to 3 pm in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 1916 Moore Ave, North Apollo, Pa. 15673. Services will be conducted at 3pm with the Reverend Doctor Kathryn Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in Maysville Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to Concordia Lutheran Ministries, 134 Marwood Rd, Cabot, Pa. 16023 or Son’s of Zebedee Lutheran Church, 422 Salt St, Saltsburg, Pa. 15681.
