Eugene Earl Cole

Eugene Earl Cole 77 of Apollo passed away Friday July 21, 2017 at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights, Pa. He was born January 28, 1940 in Kiski Twp. the son of the late William and Leatha Nappenburger Cole. Before his retirement, due to diminishing eyesight, Eugene was employed first as a carpenter, and contractor, and then became a computer programmer for Pitt University. He was very involved as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. He is survived by his wife of fourteen years, Cora Lee France Cole, two daughters; Marci Lonsinger and her husband Todd of Johnstown, Laura Cole-Steele of North Carolina, a son Dan Cole (Penny Braner) of Florida, his first wife Alice Hilty of North Carolina, and his second wife Joyce Ciuca- Cole of Johnstown, and numerous grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children; Sharon R. Hepler, and David E. Cole, his brother, Bill Cole, and his longtime companion, Janie Walters. At Eugene’s request there will be no public visitation or services.
