Dorothy Jean Knepshield

Dorothy Jean Prugh Knepshield 94 of La Fountain, Indiana (Wabash County) passed away Wednesday June 29, 2016 at Rolling Meadows. She was born June 12, 1922 in Avonmore the daughter of the late Kenneth and Orpha Ames Prugh. Before her retirement she was employed as a RN for the Veterans Administration. She is survived by her son Kenneth Knepshield of Sweetser, Indiana, six grandchildren; Jean Knepshield, Melissa Cly (Chip), Robert Simison, Sue Simison, Mike Simison, and Joann Simison, and two great grandchildren; Megan Cly and Mason Knepshield. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Simison. Family will receive friends on Thursday July 7, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. until time of services at 1:00 P.M. in the First Presbyterian Church (518 Indiana Avenue) in Avonmore. Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Larry Armstrong officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery, Avonmore.
