Dorothy M. (White) Egley

Dorothy M. White Egley, age 92, of Apollo passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at

her home. She was born on Thursday, January 29, 1925 in Maysville. She enjoyed fishing,

playing cards, gardening, working in her flower beds and coloring.  She was avid Pittsburgh

Penguins fan.  She is survived by 5 children, Jack Egley and his wife Emily of Grove City, James

Egley and his wife Sharon of Irvine (Warren County), Doug Egley and his wife Susan of Spring

Church, Jan Clepper and her husband Don of Apollo and Marsh Scott of Apollo, 9 grandchildren and

5 great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William

Egley in 1980, a son-in-law Bill Scott in 2016, 2 brothers, Hazen and James White and a sister, A. Jane

Bollinger.  At Dorothy’s request, all services are private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kelly

L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 400 Indiana Ave, Avonmore, Pa.
