Clara Lucille “Lucy” (Barr) Wilson

Clara Lucille “Lucy” Barr Wilson, age 79, of Spring Church, passed away on Tuesday March 28, 2017 at Mountain View Specialty Care in Greensburg. She was born December 24, 1937, in Fayette County, the daughter of the late Finley A. and Rosena M. Knappenberger Barr. Before her retirement, she was employed by West Haven Manor for over twenty years. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and working in her yard. She was a member of the Kiski TWP. VFD Ladies Auxiliary, where she was past president. She is survived by one son, Richard E. Wilson of Spring Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Wilson, two brothers, Clare E. Barr and Earl L. Barr, and a sister, Betty Jane Saxion. Family will receive friends on Friday, March 31, from 6:00 PM until time of services at 8:00 PM in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home, 1916 Moore Ave. North Apollo. Services will be conducted in the funeral home at 8:00 PM. Interment will be private and held in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo.
