Anice Julia (Ziemianski) Malefski

Anice Julia Ziemianski Malefski, 83, of Avonmore, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at UMPC East in Monroeville. She was born on Sunday, September 23, 1934 in Brownstown, Pa., the daughter of the late Frank and Catherine Stapinski Ziemianski. Prior to her retirement, Anice was employed by Penn State in New Kensington. She had previously been an employee of Federal Labs, Inc. in Saltsburg. Anice enjoyed dancing and listening to polka music. Her greatest joy was her two treasured grandchildren. She was always proudly in attendance, happily supporting all their activities. Anice will always be remembered for her kind and positive disposition, as well as her sweet sense of humor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Malefski Sr. and her beloved son, Frank Malefski Jr. She is survived by her loving family, a daughter, Vicki Park and her husband, Michael of Murrysville and her grandchildren, Anissa and Frank Park, her brother John Ziemianski and his wife, Florence of Avonmore and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 4PM to 7PM in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 400 Indiana Ave. Avonmore, Pa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 10AM at Saint Ambrose Roman Catholic Church with Father John Harrold as celebrant. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Avonmore.
