Alice Pearl (Seniow) Prenni

Alice Pearl Seniow Prenni, 81, of Avonmore passed away Friday December 22, 2017 at the Southwestern Veterans Center in Pittsburgh.  She was born Friday, January 3, 1936 in Bethel Twp. the daughter of the late Steffan Steve and Mary Marie Sobey Seniow.  Alice was a member of the Saint Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society.  She worked at Schenley Distillery in Gilpin Twp., the Avonmore Homestead, and for the Avonmore Borough as a water meter reader, going door to door to read meters with her dog, Weaver. Alice was a longtime volunteer with the Avonmore Lifesavers Ambulance Service.  She is survived by two children; MaryAnn Varga and her husband John of Plum, and Joe Prenni and his wife Lisa of Avonmore, three grandchildren; Dan and Gregory Varga, and Allison Prenni, a sister, Olga Cicala of Avonmore , a brother Mike Seniow and his wife Cathy of Maysville, and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph A Prenni, two brothers; Walter and Steve Seniow, and a sister Anna Bonnoni. Family will receive friends on Tuesday December 26, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 6:00-8:00 P.M. in The Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home Ltd. 400 Indiana Ave. Avonmore, Pa.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday December 27th at 10:00 A.M. in Saint Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Avonmore.  Father John Harrold will be celebrant.  Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery Avonmore.
