A. Joanne "Min" Baird

A. Joanne “Min” Baird, age 85 of Salina passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Ark Manor in Delmont, Pa. She was born Friday, August 7, 1931 in Salina, Pa., the daughter of the late Joseph Lawrence and Violet Ruth Shields Baird.  Before her retirement, she was employed with the Kiski Area School District in Maintenance. She enjoyed all types of sports, crafting, leather work and was an avid fisherman.  She is survived by 2 sisters, Thelma Jeanne Deemer of Salina, Pa. and Margaret (Peggy) Hixenbaugh and her husband Joseph of Delmont, Pa. and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Gayle Walker.  Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 1pm until time of services at 4pm in the Kelly L Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 400 Indiana Ave, Avonmore, Pa. Services will be conducted in the funeral home at 4pm with Pastor Lee Rupert officiating.  Interment will be held in Twin Valley Memorial Park in Delmont, Pa. Family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association, 825 Western Ave, Jeannette, Pa.  15644.
